Shane has devoted his career to GIS since he stumbled upon it as an undergraduate at the University of Vermont in 1986. Over the years, he worked for Esri, Fuss & O’Neill, the City of Worcester and is currently on a team of GIS professionals for the State of Rhode Island DOT. He is mainly involved with conflating RIDOT’s roadway characteristics, projects and assets into Esri’s Roads & Highways system.
