Wansoo Im has applied community participatory mapping method on environmental health, health equity, healthcare, transportation, and other planning-related fields. He has taught at Rutgers, NJIT, and UDMNJ for over 20 years. He is an associate professor at Department of Family and Community Medicine and a director at National Community Mapping Institute at Meharry Medical College.
