Matthew Waldrip is an Environmental Scientist with BSC Group Inc. in Worcester and Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Waldrip’s interest and experience lie in the fields of wetland and soil science, agriculture and geographic information systems. At BSC Group his primary project work includes delineating and assessing wetland systems under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the US Federal Clean Water Act, and completing environmental and utility mapping for Federal, State and local permits in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. In addition he conducts environmental inspections for construction projects. He frequently works to integrate various mapping programs as visual assessment tools.

Mr. Waldrip is a graduate of Westfield State University with degrees in Environmental Science, Regional Planning with a minor in Geographic Information Systems. He is a Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) by EnviroCert International Inc.  He is enrolled in the Field Botany Certificate Program at the New England Wildflower Society and he is a student at Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies earning a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Technologies.  In addition, Mr. Waldrip is the Executive Secretary of the Society of Ecological Restoration, New England Chapter and serves on the Board for the Society of Wetland Scientists, New England Chapter as Director of Publications Committee.
