Jessica Morgan is a Ph.D. student in Natural Resources Science at the University of Rhode Island and an ORISE Fellow at the U.S. EPA Atlantic Ecology Division in Narragansett, RI.  Her research interests include the analysis of environmental and remote sensing data using GIS, to better inform non-point source pollution abatement and watershed based planning efforts.  Prior to entering the Ph.D. program at URI, Jessica was the Low Impact Development Coordinator for the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.  In that role, she assisted municipalities in identifying and removing barriers to low impact development and green infrastructure in their land use regulations.  She holds a B.S. in Physical Geography and a M.S in Geography from Texas State University-San Marcos.
