Energy is what drives the United States' success in all other sectors of the economy. Whether using traditional fossil fuels, or alternative energy sources; the need for increasing energy supply to demand is critical. I have spent the past three years working on a project dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of carbon capture technologies, particularly for coal-fired power plants. In addition, I have been volunteering GIS and project management services to a local environmental services group dedicated to restoring the Cheat River to its original splendor.

My education includes an M.A. in Geography from West Virginia University and a graduate certificate in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville (UWP). I am in the process of completing my M.S. in Project Management from UWP.
