Public Participation GIS: Where do we go from here?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Having emerged in the 1990's PPGIS has become a disciple focused on the fundamental truth that local knowledge is powerful.  By tapping in to the power of local knowledge PPGIS gives voice to communities that may face marginalization in the public arena.  This session will focus on the use of PPGIS to foster public involvement and geographic awareness at the local level.
