Doug is the GIS Program Manager for Baltimore County, Maryland’s Department of Public Works and Transportation. He has over 30 years of experience in the geospatial industry. Doug is an adjunct professor at Towson University where he teaches GIS Database Design and Application of GIS in Emergency Management. He is a local government representative on the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC), National Geospatial Advisory Committee (NGAC). Doug is on URISA’s Board of Director’s and serves as Treasurer and is also their representative to the Homeland Security Foundation-Level Data (HIFLD) Committee. Doug holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in geography and environmental planning from Towson University.
